Construction Estimate: $855,486 Project Location: Hempstead and Melody
Description:
Complete rehabilitation of the road infrastructure. The work will include installation of new concrete curb, construction of new catch basins, asphalt repairs to the subgrade, and resurfacing of both streets.
Funding:
• Grant Funding From State Capital Improvement Program =$ 427,743
• Road Levy/Township General Fund = $427,743

Status: In order to save money as well as to minimize the negative impact to township residents during construction, this project was combined with the Daly Rd Resurfacing Project being performed by the Hamilton County Engineers.

Sewer replacement on the corner of Hempstead and Cottonwood was completed March 31, 2017.
Contractor: Ray Prus Construction - concrete work
John J Jurgenson Company will be subcontracted for the asphalt portion of the project
