Additional Services
Every call to the fire department is important. It may not be an emergency in nature but it is serious to the caller. All fire department employees will professionally and courteously assist the caller or person who walks into the fire station. No request for help will be ignored or rejected. If fire department personnel cannot resolve the problem, it will be their responsibility to refer the individual to the appropriate person, department or resource. Our goal is to help those in need and to have them grateful that they requested the fire department for assistance.
Residents are encouraged to take advantage of the following programs:
- Blood Pressure and Glucose Checks (8 am - 8 pm)
- Smoke Detector and Carbon Monoxide Programs
- Free smoke detectors from the Red Cross (Hearing Impaired Smoke Detectors available)
- Free carbon monoxide detectors from the Red Cross
