Great American Cleanup Results
Keep America Beautiful's Great American Cleanup, the nation's largest annual community improvement program, brings the power of 3.8 million volunteers and participants to create local change. Volunteers donated more than 5.2 million hours to clean, beautify and improve more than 16,500 communities during more than 30,600 events in all 50 states and beyond. The Great American Cleanup in Springfield Township held its cleanup on two days, Saturday, May 11, 2013 and on Saturday March 30th. Volunteers participated in our twelfth annual event by beautifying parks and recreation areas, cleaning creeks, picking up litter, planting trees and flowers, improving community gateways and removing graffiti.
