Kids' Fire Academy

A week-long Kids' Fire Academy is conducted during the summer months for children ages 8 to 12. Children participating in the program learn about the daily activities of a firefighter, basic first aid and CPR, fire escape plans, proper use of a fire extinguisher, accident avoidance, bicycle safety and severe weather safety. The program is open to Springfield Township residents only and is filled on a first-come, first-served basis. 

The Kids' Academy is conducted at the Springfield Township Fire Headquarters located at 9150 Winton Road.
