Saturday - Family Day

I am an artist: Have you ever wanted to show your artistic talent, but been to intimidated to try? We want to take that fear away by inviting all artists in the community to show up to three pieces of art in the ArtLocal art show. This is a non-jurried show that will celebrate art in all levels of ability. Your art will be on display for two days.
Artist details: If you are interested in showing your art, simply fill out the online application. You will need to know what you plan to show, how large each item is and the medium used. Categories include:original clay or porcelain ceramics, digital art, drawing, fiber, glass, jewelry, metal works, mixed media, painting, photography, print making, sculpture and wood. All art should be prepared, ready to hang. Unframed paintings, drawings, prints (etc.) will not be accepted. If any artwork is deemed inappropriate for children will NOT be on display for the family event on Saturday.
The entry fee for artists registering early is $12. After the deadline, the fee will be $15. No submissions after __. The fees collected support advertising the event and offset the costs associated with the program. Artists may submit up to 3 original works under their entry fee. The entry fee and a photograph of the art should be mailed or delivered to the Springfield Township Administration office at 9150 Winton Road, Cincinnati OH 45231. Checks are payable to The Springfield Township Arts and Enrichment Council.

Fundraising for Permanent Gallery Space:
The Springfield Township Arts and Enrichment Council is raising funds to support a permanent gallery space in the community. The gallery will be an area where local artists can showcase their work in 3 month installations at the Springfield Township Senior & Community Arts Center. The space will be designed for versatility with portable walls on wheels so that we can take any show on the road. Proceeds from the ArtLocal event benefit the installment of this proposed space. Personal and business contributions can be made in support of the permanent gallery space. Call Kimberlee Flamm at 522-1410 for details.
