Property Technician - Drug Abuse Reduction Task Force

Springfield Township, Hamilton County, OH seeks to hire a part-time (1500 or fewer hours per year) Property Technician to be assigned to the multi-jurisdictional Drug Abuse Reduction Task Force.Pay scale is $18-$20 per hour, DOE. High school diploma or GED equivalent and a minimum of two years recent experience as a police officer required.Current OPOTA certification is not required.Preference will be given to applicants with a background in investigations, intelligence or evidence identification, and processing, specialized training and/or experience in forfeiture and evidence management.Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable through Springfield Township’s Insurance Carrier.Applications and complete job description can be obtained at Springfield Township Police Department 1130 Compton Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45231, 8 a.m.-11 p.m. Applications due by August 20, 2010. Senior/Community Center Building Monitor  

Springfield Township, Hamilton County, OH seeks to hire several part-time Building Monitors with the Senior/Community Center. Position responsible for facilitating the operation of the Grove and Senior Center by opening the building, greeting guests and renters, monitoring halls and rooms to ensure proper use, setting up and breaking down events, and securing building after use. Successful applicant will be required to undergo a CVSA/Polygraph, interview, and reference/background check. Police Cadet

Springfield Township Police Department is currently accepting applications for the position of Police Cadet. This position is a full-time civilian position, designed to be a support service and is devoid of any police enforcement authority. Applicants must be 18 years old and a High School graduate or obtained a GED and posses a valid Ohio Drivers License.Successful applicant will be required to undergo a CVSA/Polygraph, Psychological Assessment, Oral interview and Reference/background check.
