Springfield Township has eight parks that feature convenient picnic shelters, perfect for your family gathering. Shelters are available to anyone, first come first served. We no longer accept reservations or collect fees for shelters.

Stephanie Hummer Park is one of the most sought after picnic areas in Springfield Township. Home to three soccer fields, and a playground, Stephaine Hummer Park is recreation at it's finest.

The Grove Picnic Shelter     9150 Winton Road

The Grove Shelter, equipped with over 15 picnic tables, is the Townships largest covered picnic enclosure. The shelter is on blacktop pavement and is adjacent to an area that is shaded with mature trees and additional picnic tables. This unique space has a little league baseball field, three sand volleyball courts and three horseshoe pits.

This quiet park is located in a picturesque tree lined area, just off Hamilton Avenue. The large parking lot will accommodate any guest list.
