The Police Department offers guidance and assistance to citizens who have an interest in developing a neighborhood watch program. This program follows the guidelines established through the National Crime Prevention Council.
To organize a Neighborhood Watch with the Springfield Township Police Department in your neighborhood, call 729-1300. Generally, the organizer will gather a minimum of eight neighbors together for a meeting with an officer. The Police Department will conduct the meeting to establish the Neighborhood Watch best practices and procedures. This meeting can be conducted at a home, public location or even at the Police Department.
