Wyoming Point Place Resurfacing Project Proposal

Project Responsibility: Springfield Township

Construction Estimate: $45,745

Property Assessment per Parcel:  $87.13 per year for 10 years

Project Location: Wyoming Point Place, both streets

Scope of Project: This project is intended to bring the pavement on Wyoming Point Place back to good condition. Construction will include repairs to concrete curb, storm sewers, and resurfacing with new blacktop.

Funding Sources:

  • Township Road Levy = $45,745
  • Property Assessment = $18,000 (after 10 years of collections)

Status: A public meeting will be held on February 2, 2017 for residents living within Wyoming Point Place. Residents that attend the meeting learned about the assessment process, the project details, and the proposed timeline.

86% of the residents living in the area signed the petition, agreeing to the partial assessment. This project went out to bid in late April, 2017.

The Springfield Township Board of Trustees has signed a contract with RA Miller to perform this project in fall of 2017
