Timberwoods Subdivision Resurfacing Project

Project Responsibility: Springfield Township

Construction Estimate: $149,171.00

Property Assessment per Parcel: $72.76 per year for 10 years

Project Location: Springrun, Millspring, Farmhill, & Millfarm

Scope of Project: This pavement preservation project is intended to bring the streets inside the Timberwoods subdivision back to good condition again.  Construction will include repairs to concrete curb, storm sewers, some full depth as well as partial depth repairs to asphalt sub-grade, and resurfacing with new blacktop

Funding Sources: 

  • Springfield Township Road Levy and General Fund = $149,171.00
  • Property Assessment = $59,668.40 (after 10 years of collections)

Status: The public meeting was held on February 7, 2018.  51% of property owners will need to sign the petition for the project to move forward.

Update: The Springfield Township Board of Trustees awarded the contract for this project to Barrett Paving.  Construction is scheduled to start the in the beginning of October.
