Bring the family for an afternoon of fun on Saturday, October 2nd! The Springfield Township Fire Department, located at 9250 Winton Road, will host a variety of hands-on activities that promote fire safety from 1-4pm. Live fire demonstrations show how to extinguish a small kitchen fire, and how firefighters extinguish larger home fires. Kids will meet Sparky the fire dog, try on real firefighter gear and be able to see the fire trucks up close and in person. Make a fire safety plan for your home and participate in the stop drop and roll challenge.
